It's been about 3 1/2 weeks since I took this picture. It seems like 3 1/2 months. It's crazy how life can just pick up again so quickly after a major surgery like this. Someone must really be looking out for us.I'm grateful today for health. And for happiness. Cheesy? Maybe. But we are sure healthy and happy.

Hi Melanie, this is Kandice. the one who live next to your parents. I see dan has one of your moms famous pillow cases in this picture. I went over to your parents house today, and saw your mom. it sure was great to see you and dan speak at the stake fireside last thursday, you guys did a wonderful job, and dan has come so far!!
I later came home today and called your mom after I visited her and asked how dan was, you guys are always on my mind. I am so happy to see how well he is doing. I hope and pray that he continues to make great progress.
